PLEASE HELPI was at a yard sale a couple of weeks back and bought this lamp for $5.00 and the centerpiece for $1.00 . Been looking around for their value and came up with several different prices . Decided to let the people who know what they are doing do their job . Here I am and thank you ! Both pieces are in excellent condition . No scratches , chips , breaks or fading . As far as I can tell the lamp shade is original and also in excellent condition . The sellers thought that these pieces were bought in the mid 70's . That is all the info I have to give . Antique Westinghouse Sm X-Ray Diagnostic Viewer - PFX FluorovueSubmitted by: borng |
|
PLEASE HELPThis antique Westinghouse portable X-Ray viewing medical device was used for small chest studies approximately 60 + years ago. The Fluorovue reads 70 and 35 mm photofluorograms. The "Cold" cathode light is in working condition (picture #3) and the back winder/roller is present. The well made customized case with blue velvet-like lining was specifically designed for non movement while transporting this medical device. There is a place for the back winder/roller to rest on that can be secured with the attached bow nuts. I'm sure this customized case is the reason that the Fluorovue is in such great shape. The case also in great condition with metal clasping latches that securely close and metal protectors on every corner. The durable handle totally and easily supports the weight for transportation. The exact size of the case is: 17"H x 13"W x 9 1/2"D. The actual weight including the case is 40 lbs. There is no film or x-rays included with this item. Submit your estimate of worth |

Coca Cola CoolerSubmitted by: |
|
PLEASE HELPHello, I have a 1951 Acton Mfg.Co., pat #D-152580 metal Coca Cola cooler with the 'Drink Coca Cola" logo stamped into the front & back. This cooler has been in my moms house for 60+ years. I see many of these coolers online but not the exact same as mine. My cooler does not have a drain hole at all and the "Drink Coca Cola" is stamped way off center on one of the sides (I don't know which is the front or back). Does the missing drain or production error make this cooler special or more valuable? Thank you, Robin Kelly Submit your estimate of worth |

PLEASE HELPHello, I have a metal Coca Cola cooler that's been in my house for 60+ years. It was made by Acton Mfg. Co. Inc., 1951 patent #D-152580. I see many similar coolers online but I can't find one exactly like mine. My cooler has the logo "Drink Coca Cola" in raised lettering stamped on the front & back, but on one of those sides the logo was stamped way off center. My cooler also does not have a drain hole at all. Does this production error or missing drain make the cooler special or more valuable? Thank you, Robin Kelly Submit your estimate of worth |

Hi Robin, I believe what you have is the first in the series of Metal Coolers made by the Action Mfg. Company of Arkansas made in 1949. In the later part of 1951 they added the drain and later that year the opener was added to the handle. I would estimate your cooler between $150 to $225 in today's market. Thanks,

Antique German 3 3/4" Bisque International costume DollsSubmitted by: Keli |

PLEASE HELPHi I am interested in finding out more about these dolls I am selling for a friend on ebay. They come in their own box attached by a string and are bisque material and stand approximately 3 3/4" tall and 1 1/4" wide and each one has its country's original costume. I am uploading photos of one that is stamped "Greek". Would love to know about how old they are and where they originated and possible value. Submit your estimate of worth |

|
Hi Keli, Your Antique German 3 3/4\\\" Bisque International costume Dolls are worth between $25 to $55. Just depends on how much someone wants to pay to possible complete a set. I would suggest selling them individually and add a buy now price. The original box seems to be in very good condition. That may raise the price some. They were made in Germany around 1930. Your Greek doll just happens to be marked as to which region it represents. Hope this helps, Thanks,

Hi, I believe what you have are pieces of depression glass. It doesn't appear you have a complete set. To get a complete set you would have to be a collector of depression glass. During the Great Depression food manufacturers and distributors would put a piece of glassware in boxes of food, as an incentive to purchase their product. Businesses would hand out a piece just for coming in the door. With that being said the leaf plates are worth $5 to $7 each, the dessert-sherbet cups would be $4 to $6 each, the trinket-powder box is worth between $10 to $20. Depression glass is widely reproduced before selling the pieces as original do some research on depression glass vs reproductions. Thanks, |
