Hi Kim,
The mark on your Charles Filed Havalin Plate have both CFH and GDM in the upright position. Some of the research states that Charles Filed Havalin retired in 1881 and that is when Gerard, Dufraisseix & Morel took over and in 1882 the mark should have CFH over a upside down GDM so when the plate is turned the GDM is right side up. Other research shows the trademark as shown on your piece. Without knowing if yours is an original at auction it would bring between $10 to $30.
